The Flash makers encourage photography fans to download the beta, try it out, and consider providing their valuable feedback to the team for future adjustments.
In other words, if you care about the next release of Photoshop, this is the best time to tell Adobe what you want changed, implemented, or removed.
Commenting on the new release, Winston Hendrickson, vice president products, Creative Media Solutions, Adobe, said, “Photoshop CS6 will be a milestone release that pushes the boundaries of imaging innovation with incredible speed and performance.”
“We couldn’t wait to share this beta of Photoshop CS6 with our customers and are looking forward to hearing from them and seeing the ways they are incorporating the beta into their daily creative workflows,” added Hendrickson.
According to handful of Mac users who’ve downloaded the beta early, the new CS6 works on Intel 64-bit hardware only. 32-bit Mac systems are no longer supported as of now.
The Photoshop CS6 beta is available only in English and Japanese. Users will be required to provide an Adobe ID to complete a one-time login during the initial setup and online product activation.
The final version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 is expected to drop sometime in the first half of 2012, Adobe said. For a few feature highlights, hit the play button below :
